What drew you to VMLY&R?

I was first exposed to VMLY&R when I was a full-time marketing faculty member teaching undergrads and graduate students. I was ready for a change and looking to dive back into the industry. And VMLY&R—from a capabilities standpoint—represented so much of what I was teaching my students about the right way to connect with customers.

 

If you could tell the world one thing about VMLY&R, what would it be?

Experimentation is encouraged. As a result, creativity is alive and well. 

 

What is the most valuable lesson that you’ve learned from VMLY&R?

It wasn’t really a lesson I learned at VMLY&R, but it was reinforced: calculated risks are good. To take a chance on trying something new is always worthwhile.

 

What is one word or phrase that you would use to describe VMLY&R?

Experimental.
