Rachel’s career in brand strategy began in London, where she worked in some of the UK’s most awarded agencies, both small indies and large networks.
She has won a ton of effectiveness and creative strategy awards, for work as diverse as Drugs Education, the UK launch of Sixt Rent a car, and the repositioning of soft drink Tango.
Recently moving from London to Australia to join the VMLY&R team as head of strategy in the agency's Sydney and Melbourne offices, Walker believes that a sharp consumer insight is the power bank of every great campaign. Having worked on global brands such as Tourism Ireland, Cathay Pacific, and Sage.com she also knows the value of strategic simplicity and clarity when working with complex stakeholders and global audiences.
When she is not at work, she likes to jump out of planes wearing a neon green wingsuit.
