Starting on May 17th, VMLY&R’s creative department will be headed by Miloš Kočí. Before becoming the Chief Creative Officer, he held the role of Associate Creative Director in Kaspen/Jung von Matt for three years.

Miloš’s mission in the agency is aimed towards two principal goals. First – to follow up on VMLY&R’s high standard of creativity. The second focus is on internal functioning and cooperation of creative teams across the agency. “One of Miloš’s main tasks will be to create one functional team out of several separate creative units that exist today. This task requires the cooperation of the three current Executive Creative Directors and setting up the internal processes so that the creative department, and by extension the whole agency, can achieve the best possible results”, says Iva Walker, VMLY&R Client Service Director.

This new creative powerhouse will support all client teams. “I will gladly get involved in the work for any of our clients that might need my help. At the moment I also have one big challenge in front of me – a tender by T-Mobile, with the winner becoming the operator’s new creative agency ", says Miloš Kočí and adds: "In addition to the official work goals, I also have a more personal one. Sometimes in large agencies, people seem to come to work as if they were coming for their shift at a factory. They do their job and go home. I would like people at VMLY&R to have fun and look forward to work. Working for an advertising agency should be fun. When you enjoy something, you can see it right away, and above all, you can see it in the results."

Miloš Kočí has been working in the advertising business for almost twenty years. He started his journey as a copywriter at Havas and Saatchi & Saatchi. Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as a Creative Director in Havas, from where, with this two years' experience, he moved to Kaspen / Jung von Matt as Associate Creative Director. During this period, he created successful campaigns that bear his creative signature – for example, the campaign "No makes who we are" for Budweiser Budvar, or the famous Kooperativa outdoor advertising campaign placed on bridges over highways. Kočí also participated in campaigns for clients like Kofola, IKEA, or Rajec. His creative work has been awarded by 7 ADC awards, an Effie Award for Advertising Efficiency, and a number of international awards, such as PIAF, Golden Drum, Golden Hammer, and MIAF. Whatever time he doesn’t spend on creative solutions for clients is taken up by his three children. In rare moments of rest, he enjoys playing the guitar, reading sci-fi, or composing death metal music. Miloš is also a fan of calmer activities like walking and listening to podcasts about history, sport, and extreme metal music.
