For the first time, the Sport Alive Awards were presented at the first edition of the Sport Alive sports marketing conference. The aim was to recognise and publicise the best sporting achievements. VMLY&R converted both of its shortlists and took home two bronze awards for its RunTour running project, in two categories.
The RunTour virtual running series came third in the Best Sports Innovation category. RunTour took home another third place for Best Partnership Activation for its collaboration with the Lidl chain, which created the largest internal employee programme.
A total of 93 projects were entered into the competition, which the jury evaluated in six categories.
