Jakub leads the team that takes care of the agency’s two largest clients: Česká spořitelna and Pilsner Urquell. He started working in advertising twenty years ago. First he gained experience in a smaller agency – he was given the best training right at the beginning of his career by the client Korunní, for whom he prepared a revolutionary campaign with an incredible 156 TV spots. In another agency, he gradually worked his way to the position of Lead Account for T-Mobile and he spent five beautiful years with this client. Jakub likes to say that great work can even be done in large corporations.
In VMLY&R, he gained experience alongside the biggest capacities in advertising such as Tereza Svěráková and Jaime Mandelbaum, the European Creative Director of VMLY&R. He is fortunate that he can cooperate on campaigns that not only win Effie Awards, but make it all the way to France each year for the prestigious Cannes Lions world creativity festival.
When it comes to relationships with clients, Jakub is a long-distance runner – building long-term relationships and creating partnerships with clients is his biggest strength. Whenever building relationships gets him too exhausted that he needs to build up his strength, he picks up a kite surf or gets on his bike.
