Mukund Olety is the Group Chief Creative Officer of VMLY&R, India. In this role, he leads the creative for the VMLY&R network, across its three offices. In addition to integrating the creative offerings, he is focused on fusing creativity, technology and culture to create work that’s truly connected. He is excited by all things new, and believes diversity breeds creativity. He is fearlessly focused on creating work that brings brands both fame and fortune.

With a career spanning nearly two decades, Mukund has worked in some of the world’s biggest and most diverse markets. He is probably the only senior creative in the world with extensive India, China and South-East Asia experience. Prior to joining VMLY&R, he was with BBDO in China. He has also worked with Leo Burnett in SEA, Ogilvy in India and done projects with CP+B, Boulder.

Never the one to lie low, Mukund has worked on a host of envy-inducing brands: Dell, Intel, Colgate, Marico, AFLI, Platinum, Volkswagen, Mars Chocolates, Wrigley, Mercedes, Visa, McDonald’s, Carlsberg, Samsung, Durex, Unilever, Maxis Telecom, Nike, ESPN, Bingo and Coke. His work on these brands have won him over a hundred awards globally.

To give back to the industry, he has served on several jury panels and partnered with industry forums to mentor young creatives.
