As the VMLY&R India- Chief Operating Officer, Prachi has taken charge of cross-discipline and cross-office integration, workforce planning and organisational strategy including VMLY&R, The Glitch & VMLY&R Commerce across all its offices in India. She has been an integral part of the agency’s expansion and is pivotal to the ongoing evolution of the network in India. In her new role, she will be driving combined business and people operations management for the Network.
From being a Senior Planner at Ogilvy India to leading business and client relations at the Glitch, her path to the COO role has seen her working on transformative journeys for some of the biggest brands around the globe. Rooted in the digital ecosystem, Prachi has always believed in pushing the boundaries of the solutions that Glitch can offer clients. Her contribution to the Glitch has been integral to consistently making it one of India’s best digital agencies.
In building a modern, fearless, empathetic, and emotionally safe workspace at the Glitch, she has led truly by example for the past 8 years, the continuation of which she aims to take forward into her role as the COO. Her superpower lies in bringing people together, building teams with innate social magnetism and ultimately championing their growth, both professional and personal. One of her prime successes has been the team of ninjas she’s built at The Glitch where the cultural core of equality, diversity and inclusion thrive and continue to evolve.
This thought flows into her core mission of transforming the agency-client relationship into partnerships founded in respect. She considers it a personal responsibility to leave this industry a little better than it was when she first found it. In that tradition, she has worked hard to create an atmosphere where failure isn’t the end, where every problem has a solution and where there are new ways of working, new roles, new definitions of functioning, new business models… nothing is off limits anymore.
This sense of empathy and discipline informs her personal spaces too, wherein, apart from being an avid yoga practitioner, she’s also a proud mom to two cats, who actively participates in rescuing, rehoming, and rehabilitating street animals.
Prachi's ambition and vision remain limitless, showcasing the potential and crafting an example for strong women leaders in the advertising industry.
