Diego Tardani and Luca Boncompagni join VMLY&R in March 2023 as Chief Creative Officers. They are a professionally inseparable creative couple who have been working together for almost 13 years.
Originally from Rome, then they moved to Milan, to Germany for 3 years and to the United States for one year. They both have long experience in the advertising industry, having worked in Italy and abroad for major international communication networks, they have created campaigns for mega-brands such as FCA, P&G, HEINEKEN, NETFLIX, MULINO BIANCO, CAMPARI, COCA-COLA, LEROY MERLIN, SCHWEPPES, POWERADE, NISSAN, PRIME VIDEO, ITG, ENI, SAMSUNG, to name a few.
Diego is back in the agency where he started his career as a copywriter in 2010, at that time Y&R.
Luca initially started as an art director at Saatchi&Saatchi in 2006, moving on to TBWA where he met Diego with whom he established a solid creative partnership and they began a new professional experience always as a team, moving first to Leo Burnett in Milan and Detroit until 2015, then to BBDO and Grey in Dusseldorf. In 2018 they are back in Italy and join Publicis as Associate Creative Directors, focusing mainly on the LePub brands until they were named ECD.
They have won several national and international awards, including Cannes Lions and shortlists.
Luca and Diego have creative responsibility for Milan and Rome offices of VMLY&R Italy, including the Commerce unit, coordinating a team of about 60 creatives.
Their objective is to make the agency more and more competitive and to highlight its creative identity by leveraging on the network positioning WE CREATE CONNECTED BRANDS.
