Francesco's long professional experience has evolved working for prestigious brands in the most important communication companies, both creative and media.
He started his career in McCann as Strategic Planner, then moved to Leagas Delaney as Head of Planning and later to Y&R where he led the Strategy department until 2015.
He then broadened his experience by joining Mediacom as Managing Director and Client Lead on Coca-Cola (Italy), then continued his career at WPP as Global Head of Strategy, mainly focusing on the Campari brands worldwide and implemented an innovative model of integrated cross-agencies and cross-disciplines way of working, which has brought relevant new business results to the group. From September 2019 he was with A.Testa as Chief Strategic Officer of all the group's companies.
In 2021 he is back in the WPP group as General Manager of VMLY&R Italy. His main skills: Strategic Consultancy, Brand Equity, Marketing, Content&Connections Strategy, Research&insights, Digital Transformation.
In 2023, Francesco becomes Chief Strategy Officer heading a brand new Strategic Dept., finely redesigned to fit the omnichannel communication needs. The team based in Milan and Rome is composed of young and brilliant strategists with specific skills in Branded Content, Digital and Data Analysis.
