Suba and Tasha

LEADERSHIP

Tasha Gilroy, Chief EI&B Officer, and Subashini Nadarajah, Global Executive Director of Equity, Inclusion & Belonging and Head of Multicultural Creative Center of Excellence, lead VMLY&R’s global EI&B strategy. Together, they focus on introducing new programs and partnerships that build on the agency’s inclusive culture and diverse workforce. Additionally, they work to drive continued cultural literacy, awareness, and acceptance across the organization.

Tasha leads talent and partnership initiatives that build VMLY&R’s pipeline of top talent across all of our global offices. She guides the vision and execution for an equitable talent recruitment and retention strategy across the network. She manages and grows the agency’s many existing relationships with partner organizations such as 4A’s MAIP, ColorComm, AAF Mosaic Center for Multiculturalism, One Club for Creativity and 3% Conference. 

Subashini leads the development and implementation of internal strategies that nurture a vibrant, inclusive, and equitable global culture. She cultivates independent employee networks and programs and wider industry support systems in collaboration with organizations such as NAAAP, HRC and Luminary just to name a few. She is also the head of VMLY&R's Multicultural Creative Center of Excellence (MCCCOE), a resource to help encourage diversity in creative creation, design execution, and practice to strengthen and expand the relevance of creativity in all areas of the brand and society.

Coffee Connection

Women@VMLY&R Powered by DE&I hosts Coffee Connection where participants are paired with three different contacts, an introduction is made by email and they then find 30 minutes to discuss different topics in person or over the phone. Organizers provide guidance on topics to choose from, but the participants schedule meetings their own. The program connects and empowers women while providing professional and personal development through testimonials and experiences.
