VMLY&R Mexico has received a perfect score of 100 in Equidad MX, a program of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, an organization headquartered in the United States with several global alliances designed to promote the inclusion of LGBTQ+ people in the workplace.
“It’s important to us to prioritize and champion LGBTQ+ equality,” said Héctor Fernández, CEO of VMLY&R Mexico. “We are honored to receive a perfect score on the HRC Equidad MX. It is symbolic of our dedication to diversity and underscores our commitment to collaborating with our brand partners to create authentic and inclusive work.”
The HRC Foundation, in 2016, partnered with the Diversidad e Inclusión Laboral (ADIL)
to establish the Equidad MX program as the leading assessment in LGBTQ+ inclusion at corporate level in Mexico.
Equidad MX follows the success of the HRC Corporate Equality Index in the U.S., the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality.
Earlier this year, VMLY&R in the United States received a perfect score on the HRC Corporate Equality Index.
HRC Equidad MX is a rigorous examination of an organization and its practices. To achieve a perfect score, companies must have fully inclusive equal employment opportunity policies, provide equal employment benefits, demonstrate their commitment to equality publicly, and exercise responsible citizenship.
This year, more than 260 companies participated in Equidad MX. Learn more at www.hrc.im/soyequidadmx.
