VMLY&R Named A Leader In Gartner's Magic Quadrant For Global Marketing Agencies

VMLY&R (formerly VML) has been named a Leader in Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant for Global Marketing Agencies” report for a third year in a row. The agency was recognized for its completeness of vision and ability to execute by Gartner.

Gartner’s independent evaluation of 20 agencies considers both current and evolving market needs. This report stated,"In addition to evaluating how each global agency meets current marketer needs, we assess their ability to drive client growth by interpreting marketplace trends. We also look at their ability to deliver transformational technologies or approaches that address marketers’ future needs."

“We are incredibly proud of this recognition from Gartner that we believe is a testament to VMLY&R’s ability to reimagine today’s connected consumer experience,” said Jon Cook, Global CEO of VMLY&R. “As the rate of digital transformation accelerates, we will continue to invest in our deep technology and creative expertise to meet the fast-changing needs of our clients and drive growth.”

Gartner defines those within the Leaders quadrant as agencies that “possess deep, broad capabilities across all competencies, most notably related to strategic services (which include business strategy and digital business transformation skills). Leaders implement comprehensive, effective solutions that leverage sizable investments in creative talent and marketing technology. They invest their own R&D dollars to set market direction. As a result, Leaders are the providers to watch in the ongoing evolution and transformation of marketing in a digital world.

Leaders maintain a viable business, regardless of the global economy. Leaders extend their client relationships far beyond marketing promotions, often appearing on competitive bids outside their primary sector (for example, management consulting, production ideation and product development requests for quotations). Leaders help their clients develop digital marketing platforms designed for systemic growth and scale; they do so by harnessing their own significant expertise implementing digital marketing programs driven by data and analytics."
