VMLY&R Poland’s Warsaw and Kraków offices simultaneously celebrated their Sister Cities Swap event at the end of August. Leading up to the events, a secret internal planning team spent weeks meeting with their Sister Cities Swap partner, VMLY&R Australia, to learn about their unique traditions, pop culture, favorite culinary dishes and ways of life. A few visual teasers were shared with the Polish offices before the surprise event, and on the day, each office was fully transformed — featuring sounds of ocean waves; videos of the Great Barrier Reef, famous Australian beaches and coastlines; characteristic yellow road signs; trivia facts; tasty treats such as Chiko Rolls, pavlova and snags; employees riding longboards around the office; and tunes from a curated Spotify playlist.
