AMI (International Medical Assistance) has, since 1996, conducted a yearly X-Ray Recycling Campaign. These old x-rays, which have no use anymore and often get pilled up in drawers, are a way to help those that need it the most, with the money earned through the collected silver in them.
According to studies, helping others is good for our health. It leaves us happier and fulfilled. The same is true for this campaign. Even those that have broken a leg can feel the joy of contributing to a good cause.
