Rahul leads the strategic & brand planning function for VMLY&R Asia, based out of Singapore. Having joined the agency in 2015, he has been instrumental in leading strategy for clients including Kraft Heinz, Kellogg’s, Danone, Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, Castrol, BCA, WDA and Marico. He has built and shaped the practise within the agency with his team of strategists across the offices in the region.
Rahul started his career in banking as an analyst before shifting to advertising, where his heart felt at home. Having worked out of three different markets on local, regional and global businesses and brands, he now focusses on shaping the agency into the next round of growth alongside building key client relationships. He takes an active interest in giving back - holding training sessions internally across functions and externally with several colleges in the region.
Rahul sits on the council of the Institute of Advertising Singapore (IAS) and has judged multiple award shows in the past including the Effies Awards Singapore, 2018.
