Eric directs the imaginative output for the West Region of VMLY&R. As the executive lead in the West, Eric is focused on making VMLY&R and our clients the most innovative brands in the world.
Beginning with dismantling his mom's digital clock radio to see how it worked at age 8, Eric has dreamed of being a professional mad scientist. At age 15, he made his first Tesla coil, and ever since he's loved the combination of art and science.
Eric joined VML in 1994, and has designed and implemented many top companies' online presence and digital experience. Additionally, for more than 25 years, he has helped guide the evolution of many brands to develop customer experiences both on and offline. Eric has led creative strategy and development across clients that include Microsoft, T-Mobile, Amazon and Sprinklr.
Eric continues to deliver global innovation for some of the world's most distinguished brands. He recently served as the Global Creative Lead for Team Microsoft, which consists of five WPP companies and more than 300 Creative team members in 50 countries. Additionally, Eric has been the VML Chief Creative Officer as well as the Chief Innovation Officer.
His works has won numerous awards from Cannes Lions to the International Academy of Visual Arts, ADDYs, CA, W3, Print, Webbys and more.
Eric continues to stretch the boundaries of customer engagement, design, innovation and communication technology in the business-to-business and consumer space, as well as application development, mobile and social marketing. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and workshops around the world.
