Lisa Bridgers is the Chief People Officer, North America, for VMLY&R, since 2021. As Chief People Officer, Lisa focuses her energy on furthering a connected employee experience across VMLY&R. Lisa joined (then) VML in 2017 when Rockfish was acquired by VML. She originally joined Rockfish as part of the talent acquisition team and spent the following years implementing progressive human resources practices centered on the concept of people first which led to her appointment as Chief People Officer at Rockfish, and ultimately as Chief People Officer at VMLY&R. She oversees a People Team that spans every aspect of the employee lifecycle from talent engagement to development, retention and growth.
Lisa is committed to ensuring VMLY&R attracts the best talent and develops them in ways that allow them to create a long career with the agency.
Lisa has been working in talent acquisition and human resources functions for more than two decades, including stints with Saatchi & Saatchi X, Robert Half International, and as owner of a successful consulting firm on the west coast. She is the co-creator of the Women in the Workforce conference and a member of the Executive Advisory Committee for the Women’s Empowerment Center. Lisa has been recognized with a C-Suite award and a Women in Business award from the Northwest Arkansas Business journal.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends and enjoying the outdoors in every capacity. She likes hiking, swimming, camping, birdwatching, and playing with her two dogs Bernie and Jett.
Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Arkansas Tech University and is an active volunteer in her community.
