As VMLY&R’s Chief Strategy Officer, Tomas leads an award-winning team of interdisciplinary marketing strategists focused on informing, guiding and powering the world’s most connected brands.
With over twelve years of innovation, agency and editorial experience between London and New York, Tomas has worked with global brands such as Google, Pernod Ricard, New Balance, Colgate-Palmolive, Dell, PwC, Ford, MasterCard, International Olympic Committee and Premier League to design strategic solutions that unlock real growth and positively impact consumer lives. He is a jury member of the Global Effie Awards and an active contributor to the industry’s benchmarks on marketing effectiveness.
Before joining VML, Tomas worked at TBWA\London, co-founded a social media start-up and wrote an academic thesis on the role of open source innovation in product development.
He lives and works in New York City, is an avid runner and is developing an art residency program for emerging artists from the United States, Europe, Hong Kong and South Africa on his farm in upstate New York. He holds a masters degree in New Media and Management from the London School of Economics.
