Environ is a globally recognised professional skin care brand that is built on science, beauty and care and is loved by its loyal customer base. The brand was founded in 1990 by brother and sister team Dr Des Fernandes and group chairman and CEO Val Carstens. Fernandes, a plastic surgeon, pioneered the use of vitamin A and antioxidants in skin care products in the 1980s. Carstens could spot a quality product when she saw it and was selling her brother’s creams to friends and family even before officially starting the company. Today more than 140 Environ products are sold in more than 70 countries around the world.
