Nando's / Loadshedding
Load shedding power cuts left households cold, dark and hungry, it also wasn’t great for business. After installing generators in their most affected restaurants, we targetted potential Nando’s customers with geo-located media to serve hungry South Africans ads (and food) when they needed it most. By using Eskom’s load shedding schedule as our media schedule, we activated Nando’s banners when load shedding was at stage 3 or above, directing people affected to their nearest generator-powered restaurant. When power was restored, our banners were deactivated.
