Eric Looney

In his nearly 15 years at VMLY&R, Eric has used design to discover new value for people and business across a variety of clients, such as Korean Air, Sprint, Carlson Hotels, Electrolux, Mastercard, and FedEx.

Passionate for Post-it notes, design thinking, and the Jobs to Be Done theory of consumer action, Eric has spent the last few years designing new products and services for Ford Motor Company, including the global FordPass mobile application, signature retail experiences, and moments that matter for the first Ford battery-electric vehicle.

“Design is such a critical part in creating a better human experience. If we can see where people are having challenges and recognize what ideas might best fit their needs, then we can create products and services that become the answer for our clients and, most importantly, their customers.”

Eric joined the agency in 2007 from the architectural industry. He is the proud father of two boys, plays dirty blues and speaks fluent Japanese (at the level of a 1-year-old).
