VMLY&R RECOGNIZED FOR EFFECTIVENESS

U.S. Effies — The winners of the 2020 Effie Awards U.S. Competition were announced recently during a virtual gala. VMLY&R had its strongest year ever, including:

  • Wendy’s “Keeping Fortnite Fresh” — Silver in the AR/VR/Digital category, Silver in the Engaged Community category, and Bronze in the Media Innovation category
  • Tennessee Department of Tourist Development “Laugh Tracker” — Bronze in the David vs. Goliath category and Bronze in the Media Innovation category

The U.S. also received six finalist honors for work from Wendy’s, Kraft, Amtrak, Bomb Pop and Heinz Ketchup.

APAC Effies — VMLY&R China was awarded a Silver for “Your Pepsi Home Video” in the Data-Driven category for PepsiCo China.

Turkey Effies — Effie 2020 recognized VMLY&R Istanbul with a total of six awards, including two Silver and one Bronze for Vodafone, Silver for Opet, and Bronze for Mavi and Migros.

Effie Worldwide represents effectiveness in marketing, spotlighting ideas that work and encouraging thoughtful dialogue about the drivers of marketing effectiveness.
