Dollar Agony

Tying in to recent events, Dhélet VMLY&R in Argentina created a thought-provoking radio advertisement for Ripio to promote their bitcoin and digital payment services.

Ripio is a start-up bitcoin and digital payments company that is working to boost crypto adoption in Argentina.

 
/INSIGHT

Argentina's economy is historically volatile, so it's population commonly saves up in US dollars. In August 2018, the market was affected by a huge devaluation of the peso. 

IDEA

The radio advertisement titled “Dollar Agony,” in the video above, was based on the real values of the dollar that came after — painting the picture that if you save your physical money and are robbed, it could be worth a dramatic amount based on the day you fell victim.
